PREVENTION & GENERAL WELL-BEING

"If you don't make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness." Anonymous

Chinese medicine is fundamentally a preventative medicine. In Ancient China, every village had a doctor whose job was to prevent illness and keep everyone in the village healthy. Each month, the doctor was paid for his services, but only if everyone remained healthy. If anyone got sick, it was considered a failure on the doctor’s part and they didn’t get paid – now that’s preventive medicine! In modern times, however, doctors are only paid when people get sick. Thus, prevention has become our own responsibility!

But still, health isn't valued until sickness comes. I would like to remind you that there is no need, nor is it wise, to wait for health problems to occur in order to start considering your health. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of taking care of yourself before you become ill. It is much easier and more convenient to take action beforehand. Acupuncture can help you with this, as one of the most remarkable benefits of acupuncture is its ability to prevent disease.

I work with you to restore and maintain your balance, so that your body can start healing itself and stay healthy in the long-term. I want you to take health as your highest priority, as the quality of all aspects of your life depends on it!

Give yourself some loving attention with acupuncture.
